Proxel™ 106 Antimicrobial is broad spectrum preservative for the protection of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi.
It is a formulation of 5-chloro-2-methyl- 4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3- one (MIT).
usage rate 0.1-0.3%
use below 40 celsius or 104 Fahrenheit
Proxel 106 preservative, also known as Proxel 106 Antimicrobial, is effective within a pH range of 2 to 6. It's an aqueous solution with a pH typically between 2 and 4 at 25°C. Proxel 106 is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent, effective against bacteria, yeast, and mold.
