Angelica Root Essential Oil is a steam-distilled essential oil obtained from the roots of Angelica archangelica. It has a warm, earthy, woody, herbaceous, and slightly spicy aroma. In cosmetics and personal care products, it is primarily used for its fragrance, skin-conditioning, purifying, and scalp-care properties. It is commonly included in luxury skincare, massage products, scalp treatments, and aromatherapy formulations.

Note: Angelica Root Essential Oil contains naturally occurring furanocoumarins, which can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight (phototoxicity). Many cosmetic manufacturers prefer FCF (Furanocoumarin-Free) Angelica Root Oil for leave-on products.
